Overnight Saturday Snow Fails to Fall on Southeast Ohio

Still the National Weather Service maintained a winter weather advisory for most of the state including Athens County through early Saturday afternoon.
Saturday's forecast for the area called for snow before 11am, then rain, snow, and sleet between 11am and noon, then rain after noon.

East wind 5 to 7 mph.
Chance of precipitation was expected to be 100%.
Total daytime snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 2 inches was possible in Athens.
