Coolville Elementary Receives Conservation Grant
< < Back to coolville-elementary-receives-conservation-grantA $1,014 grant has been awarded to Coolville Elementary School by the Ora E. Anderson Conservation Fund, according to the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio.
The Athens Messenger reports that the grant will be used by Christopher Sidote to take his sixth-grade class to visit The Wilds in Guernsey County to learn about conservation efforts in the area.
The Ora E. Anderson Conservation Fund was created in 2007 to honor the legacy of naturalist Ora Anderson, and to provide a permanent source of charitable funding for conservation activities and programs.
