Ohio Man Indicted In Pizza Delivery’s Killing

An Ohio man accused of raping and killing a pizza delivery driver has been indicted by a grand jury on charges that could carry a death sentence.
The Zanesville Times Recorder reports that Adam Charles Burris, 32, was indicted Friday on two counts of aggravated murder and one count each of rape, kidnapping, and aggravated robbery, among others.
Authorities say Kayla Thompson, 26, of Cambridge, about 80 miles east of Columbus, didn't return from a delivery to Burris' home the day after Christmas.
The sheriff says Burris was later taken into custody and led authorities to Thompson's body near a boat ramp at Dillon State Park in neighboring Muskingum County.
Burris' attorney, Andy Warhola, did not respond to requests for comment Sunday.
