Huntington Police To Add Armored Vehicle To Their Fleet

Huntington Police will add an armored vehicle to their fleet.
WSAZ reports City Council on Monday accepted a more than $250,000 grant for the Bearcat.
It will be used to help serve warrants in situations that may turn violent or during hostage situations.
HPD Chief Skip Holbrook said it is a great investment for the city.
He said the Bearcat also will be used as a regional response vehicle, meaning it can be used in situations throughout the region — if needed
