The 11th Annual Harvest Festival, a fundraiser for Union Hall Theater, will take place on Saturday, October 1st from 10 am to 4 pm. It will be followed at 7 pm by the Hometown Music Showcase & Silent Auction. Both events will take place at the Union Hall Theater/Kate Love Simpson Library Building at 7520 Marion Street, Chesterhill.

The Harvest Festival will feature lots of entertainment for the kids: a magic show by Ty Argo, crafts, face painting, balloon art, story time, hay rides, and a performance by Darla’s Dancers. There will also be craft vendors, food, a pie auction and a 50/50 raffle. Admission to the festival is free, and there is no booth fee for vendors.

The Hometown Music Showcase will feature Jay Peters, Mike Thompson, John Borchard, Carl Raines and John Wetzel as the house band, with special guests Jerry Kennedy, Tim Norman, Adam Jackson, Jimmie King, Weston Starling, Julia Garber and Autumn Garber. There will also be door prizes, and a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle, with proceeds going to the theater. Admission is $8 for adults and $1 for those under 18.
