< < Back to new-poll-shows-growing-opposition-sb-5A new poll ahead of next month's election finds growing opposition to an Ohio law limiting the bargaining rights of 350,000 public sector workers.
A Quinnipiac University Poll taken Oct. 17-23 found 57 percent of registered voters support repealing Senate Bill 5, compared with 32 percent who support the law Republican Gov. John Kasich signed in March.
The margin opposing the law has almost doubled since Quinnipiac's Sept. 27 poll.
GOP voters support the union limits, 59 percent to 32 percent.
Majorities by gender, race, income and education levels want the law overturned Nov. 8.
The phone survey of 1,668 registered voters has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.4 percent.
