Trimble Tomcats Tournament Preview

The a Trimble Lady Tomcats head into the playoffs with a (6-11) record, garnering the 8th seed. They face off with St. Joseph in the first round.
The ladies finished their season on a high note with a win over Southern, trying to find any kind of momentum to take into the playoffs. They have a very good chance of beating this St. Joseph but that’s as far as I can see this team going. If they make it to the next round they face TVC powerhouse Waterford who handed the Lady Tomcats two dominating losses during the season. There’s no conceivable way the Lady Tomcats can beat this Waterford team.
The boys look towards the playoffs with a much more promising outlook. They snagged the 2nd seed and wait to see if they will face either Belpre or South Gallia.
I can see the boys making a serious run if they can stay focused and make sure everybody is giving their best effort. However, if they end up facing Belpre, that will be a huge trap game for Trimble. Belpre defeated them in their last meeting and they did it rather dominantly and in convincing fashion. If Trimble can avoid another Belpre loss then look for them to make it far in the tournament.
