Cooper Breaks PAOK Single Season Assist Record
< < Back to cooper-breaks-paok-season-assist-recordFormer Ohio point guard D.J. Cooper recorded his 172nd assist on the season in PAOK's win on Saturday, breaking the program's all-time single season record set back in the 2003-04 season.
Cooper needed nine assists heading into Saturday's game to break Damir Mulaomerovic's record, and he recorded eight points, nine assists and six rebounds in PAOK's 88-74 win over Ikaros. The Bobcats' all-time leader in career assists has played 26 games for PAOK in the Greece regular season, where he has averaged 10.6 points and 6.6 assists.
Saturday's game concluded the regular season for Cooper and PAOK, as they will start the quarterfinals on May 6 against Nea Kifisia.
