Cooper To Suit Up For Bosnian National Team
< < Back to cooper-suit-bosnian-national-teamFormer Ohio basketball standout D.J. Cooper will spend his summer in Europe. The point guard was granted Bosnian citizenship, allowing him to compete with the Bosnian National Team.
Cooper will be only the fourth American ever to play for the Bosnian National Team. The other Americans that have represented Bosnia are Zach Wright, who Cooper is replacing on the team, Terrel Castle and Henry Domercant.
Cooper spent the 2013-14 season with PAOK BC in the Greek Basketball League. He led PAOK to a third place finish and averaged more than 10 points and six assists per game in his first season overseas.
