Southern Puts Perfect Record Up Against Miller
< < Back toThe Southern Tornadoes (3-0) and the Miller Falcons (2-1) go head-to-head on Friday night under the lights in Corning, OH.
Southern is the only team left with a perfect record in the TVC-Hocking this season. Last week the Tornadoes defeated the Wahama White Falcons in overtime with a final score of 27-21.
Miller is also coming into this game with a win from a non-conference game last week over Millersport 42-7.
Last week, Southern’s offensive attack was lead by senior Riley Roush. Roush carried the ball 29 times for a total of 132 yards and four touchdowns.
Miller played a ground heavy game themselves last week, running for a total of 314 rushing yards and an average of 8.3 yards per carry.
Miller is hoping to take the Tornadoes by storm on Friday night so they can challenge Southern’s perfect record and scramble up the TVC-Hocking standings.
These two teams are evenly matched, so this game could even end up with overtime drama like Southern’s win over Wahama last week.
With high hopes and strong motivation from both teams, the boys will lay it all on the field.
