The School of Art + Design and the School of Visual Communication (VisCom) are excited to welcome internationally-renowned National Geographic artist Fernando Baptista to Ohio University.

Mr. Baptista will be giving a presentation showcasing his recent work and his creative process in Schoonover 145 on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. Free and open to the public.

Fernando is internationally famous for his hands-on approach to visual storytelling.

He creates models from paper or clay and uses photos and/or video to bring them to life.
