State Route 13 in the Millfield/Morristown area is now open after it was closed this morning due to a traffic accident. According to Athens County Emergency Management, first responders were on the scene and the roadway was opened sometime between 11am and 12pm.
West Union Street Lane Closure in Preparation for Paving Activities
You may need to use another route today as the westbound lane of West Union Street is closed between Depot Street and S. High Street until 6pm. Parking on the street will be prohibited when curb-milling is completed.

Zanesville Police are investigating a shooting incident that took place this morning. One person was shot after 2:30 am at the intersection of Ball Street and Peters Alley and was taken to hospital.
