The Athens Art Guild was established as a non-profit organization to provide opportunities and leadership for a diverse group of visual artists and craftspeople in Athens, Ohio and the surrounding area.
As active members of our community, the Athens Art Guild artists represent a wide variety of visual arts including ceramics, fiber, jewelry, painting, printing, sculpture, stained glass, photography, watercolor, wood working, soap-making, book-binding and more.
Guild members may sell their work year-round at the Athens Farmer’s Market. We also showcase work made by our members each December at the Athens Art Guild Holiday Shoppe and the Athens Art Market at the Market on State.
We are funded by annual membership dues, grants, corporate and individual donations. We promote arts throughout the community and provide enrichment funding for art education in our schools.
