You are invited to Showing Up for Racial Justice of SEO’s monthly general meeting on Tuesday, December 12, from 7-9 pm at Christ Lutheran Church basement, 69 Mill St.in Athens. Please join us for our monthly general meeting.

This month, we will watch and discuss Whose Streets. Whose Streets is a documentary told by activists and leaders about the uprising in Ferguson, Missouri after the unarmed Black teenager, Michael Brown, was shot and killed by police. You are welcome to bring a dish to share and a collection will be taken up to go to support performance artist John Sims. Child care will be provided and will include age-appropriate social justice activities.
