The Dairy Barn Arts Center in Athens, OH announces OH+5 ‘18, the 11th biennial.
OH+5 ‘18 is an all media, juried art exhibition that serves to promote artists residing in Ohio and its five bordering states: Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. OH+5 aims to feature new work that provides the viewer with an appreciation of a variety of media, techniques and innovative trends in contemporary art.
This year’s exhibition will feature 69 pieces from 44 artists in Ohio and the five boarding states. Jurors were Tim Bearse, an Ohio University Fine Arts Professor, Kim Beck, an Associate Professor in the School of Art at Carnegie Mellon University and artist whose work includes drawing, print, installation and sculpture and Dana Goodman, a professor of ceramics and sculpture at IPFW.
OH+5 ‘18 will be on display at The Dairy Barn Arts Center from January 20 to March 17, 2018, with an opening reception and awards ceremony on January 19 from 5-8 p.m. Gallery and gallery shop hours will be Tuesday-Saturday 12-5pm. Admission for the show will be $5, with free admission on Wednesdays.
