Julie Zickefoose – author, artist, naturalist – presents the moving story of the unlikely visit of a snowy owl to a shopping mall, causing a stir amongst birdwatchers and the public alike. Julie was drawn into a web of connectivity that protected and ultimately rescued this precious visitor from the Arctic.
A free event presented by the Athens Area Birders. Arrive at 6:30 pm for snacks and chats, program starts at 7:00 pm.
