Join us for a deep dive leadership workshop on March 23, 2018 at the Session 1: Leadership Power and Influence Session 1: Leadership Power and Influence
Where does your power come from? How should you use it? What’s your Kryptonite? Today’s leaders are constantly facing complex problems and uncertainty in an ever-changing global environment that cuts across many sectors within and beyond their organizations. Leaders must be agile, adaptive and innovative. Some of the challenges for today’s leaders are the ability to ethically exert power and influence to achieve individual, team and organizational goals. Leaders must be able to influence their followers to achieve greater performance; their superiors and peers to make important decisions; and stakeholders to ensure the value of the organization. Session 2: Stay Out of Your Own, and Others’, Way: How to Value Communication through Leadership
What styles of leadership and communication are valued within the workplace? What is your role in dismantling or preserving structures that minimize marginalized voices? How the workplace can be re-imagined to be more inclusive. Using Forum-Theater style scenarios, participants will work through creating positive outcomes by practicing techniques in a safe environment. Session 1 Facilitator
