Betties & Brews: Dog Days of Summer Roller Derby Bout

On Saturday, July 14. The Appalachian Hell Betties will battle Marietta’s Hades Ladies during Betties & Brews: Dog Days of Summer being held at the Athens Community Center, 701 E. State St. Vendors, food, beer and cider will be available along with a puppy kissing booth to help support New Beginnings Animal Center. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at Brown Paper Tickets. Doors open at 4 p.m.; the bout begins at 5 p.m.
