New West Virginia Lottery Director Named

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) – West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice has appointed John Myers as state lottery director.
Justice announced Myers’ appointment Tuesday.
Lottery director Alan Larrick resigned last month just after the launch of sports gaming at the Hollywood Casino in Charles Town.
Myers has been secretary of administration under Justice. He worked at the West Virginia Lottery from 2008 to 2017 and was acting director from 2015 to 2017. He also served as manager of corporate administration for Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Buffalo.
