Athens Friends and Newcomers (AFAN) Fan Fair on Thursday Nov. 8, 2018, 6:30 pm. The event takes place at The Plains United Methodist Church, 3 N. Plains Rd, The Plains. Registration starts at 6:00 pm. The fair is a market of member-made items, as well as finger food and deserts. Admission is $10, and reservations are required at dnlmur@aol.com or 740-707-2078, no later than Sunday Nov. 4, 2018 at 6:00 pm.
