Holiday Gift Bag Making and Upcycle Shop Sneak Peek!

FreeCome to Athens Makerspace and ReUse on Union – both at 751 West Union Street – Saturday December 15th from 12pm-6pm!
ReUse on Union is launching an Upcycle Boutique! – We’re expanding our retail space to incorporate YOUR art – practical or fanciful – crafted out of at least 75% materials that are reused, reclaimed, repurposed, rescued, or just plain found.
This event will be a sneak peek at all the amazing art that has already come in, and an opportunity to discuss consigning your work for sale here. We will also have seasonal treats and live music from 3+ local bands from 3pm-6pm
And next door at Athens Makerspace: come learn how to sew reusable holiday gift bags to wrap the locally-made gifts you might find here. Make a bag once and use it for years to come – no need to throw away wrapping paper! Pre-made bags will also be available for sale.
And even more fun: from 12-1:30pm, Sweet Arts Bakery will be joining us to teach Holiday Cookie Decorating for kids.
