2, 3, 4: Dimensional Photographies

Thursday, Feb. 28 – closing Reception, 5-7PM

Contemporary photography is embracing modes of production that move the print off the wall and into 3-D and 4-D realms, exemplified in part by a return to historical processes. Photography like this distinguishes itself from retinal, transmittable media by calling attention to its own materiality, its presence, its singularity and its unique identity as both image and object.
