Mark Haney will be the Democratic candidate in the Uhrichsville mayor’s race. Haney received 195 votes while his opponent Rick Dorland received 160 votes.
In the mayor’s primary race for the Village of Dennison, Tim Still will be the Democratic candidate on the upcoming November ballot. Still received 100 votes. His opponent Jeffrey W. Dryden received 57 votes.
Voters in Perry Township renewed a 2 mills general operating levy for the township for five years with 32 for the levy and 7 against.
In Warwick Township, voters passed a 3 mills levy for the construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of street, roads, and bridges by a vote of 74 to 45.
An additional levy at the rate of 6.9 mills for five years for emergency requirements for the Dover City School District failed 2,530 to 1,589.
An additional levy at the rate of 4 mills for 10 years for emergency requirements for the Garaway Local School District passed 410 to 351.
A renewal levy at the rate of 5 mills for five years for current expenses for the Indian Valley Local School District passed 368 to 233.
Voters passed 466 to 109 a renewal levy at the rate of 1 mill for five years for the Union Cemetery District.
The fire and emergency services replacement levy for the Village of Sugarcreek passed 202-90. The levy is at the rate of 3.5 mills for five years.
