Water Witches II Radio A Sessions

Only a few weeks before their 2019 performance at the Nelsonville Music Festival, Water Witches performed four tracks off of their brand new Most Likely to Succeed EP: “Scapegoat,” “Stringfinger,” “Dog Food,” and “Trees” in WOUB’s Radio A.
Formed initially by Ethan Bartman and Charlie Touvell, Water Witches have been brewing up fuzzy cosmic garage pop for the unwashed masses since 2015. The band often plays with occult imagery and psychedelic themes, and has two full length releases to their name, Feathers (2015) and Halcyon (2017). Out of all the band’s work, Most Likely to Succeed most closely resembles the sonic experience of one of the band’s shows: kaleidoscopic, visceral, and raw-edged. The EP was recorded in equal parts at Off the Cuff Studios in Fort Wayne, IN with producer/engineer Jason Davis and at The Oxide Shed with producer/engineer Eddie Ashworth.
The band is playing all over Ohio this fall. Most Likely to Succeed will soon be available on Spotify and other streaming platforms, and is currently available as a name-your-own-price download on the band’s bandcamp page.
