Athens County Humane Society Chili Cook-off

ACHS is hosting its first Chili Cook-off during Ohio University’s “Dad’s Weekend”. On November 2 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., 20 businesses and individuals will be competing at the First Presbyterian Church to see who has the best chili recipe. There will be both a community judging and private judging from such individuals including the Sheriff and Mayor of Athens. Tickets will be $10. Attendees will be welcomed to try all chilis and even countless treats provided by participants and ACHS. For more contact information, visit athenshumane.org
