Visit the Treasure On National Route 40. The Gant House was long welcomed travelers as they ventured across America. In it’s history, the Gant House served as the residence of Nelson T Gant as the site of strawberry socials and gatherings. In later years the house greeted visitors as a Tavern and restaurant. Through the combined efforts of community members, churches and area businesses, plans were developed to acquire the property and return it to the charm and feel the warmth of the Gant home place.
