Athens Conservancy Annual Meeting

FreeJoin the Athens Conservancy board of directors and members for our annual potluck dinner and meeting! Bring a dish to share if you wish, hear some updates from the Conservancy, and stay to welcome Kelly Capuzzi, a Fisheries Biologist with the Ohio EPA, presenting on behalf of the Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist Program (OSU). Her presentation, “From Burning Rivers to Healthy Rivers: How Ohio Streams Have Changed for the Better” will begin with a short documentary about the effects of mining on Southeast Ohio streams. Kelly will then go on to show how our streams are recovering.
