Prescription Drug Drop-Off Options Expanding

According to the agency's Facebook page, Sheriff Lanny North announced his office on East Second Street in Logan will accept unwanted prescription medicine daily.
Previously, the department held drug turn-in programs a couple of times a year. During an October collection, the department received more than 23 pounds of prescription medication.
The sheriff's office will turn over any prescription drugs to the Drug Enforcement Administration for proper disposal.
