Fifteen Arrested After Multi-County Methamphetamine Bust

LANCASTER, Ohio (WOUB) — Fifteen people have been indicted in Fairfield, Hocking, and Pickaway counties after a multi-county drug trafficking operation.

The Fairfield-Athens-Logan-Circleville Major Crimes Unit announced Friday that “Operation Krystal Ball” broke up an organization that distributed more than 62 and a half pounds of methamphetamine across Fairfield, Hocking, Pickaway, and Franklin counties.

The following people were arrested and charged. In some cases, the accused face more than one count of a single charge:

Fairfield County

Robert L. Phelps, 40, of Columbus, was charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs, trafficking in heroin, and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. He faces 28 first-degree felony charges, 45 second-degree felony charges, and six third-degree felony charges.

Micki McGee, 36, of Lancaster, was charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs (with a firearms specification), trafficking in heroin, improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle, and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. He faces three first-degree felony charges, nine second-degree felony charges, and five third-degree felony charges.

Josh Dysart, 37, of Pleasantville, was charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs (with a firearms specification), trafficking in heroin, improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle, and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. He faces three first-degree felony charges, two second-degree felony charges, six third, degree felony charges, and two fourth-degree felony charges.

Josh Swisher, 29, of Lancaster, was charged with aggravated trafficking of drugs. He faces one first-degree felony and four second-degree felonies.

Gary R. Rutherford, 26, of Lancaster, was charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs and conspiracy to commit aggravated trafficking in drugs. He faces one first-degree felony, one second-degree felony, four third-degree felonies, and 13 fourth-degree felonies.

Angelique Morris, 26, of Pleasantville, was charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs, conspiracy to commit aggravated trafficking in drugs, and improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle. She faces one second-degree felony, three third-degree felonies, and one fourth-degree felony.

Kassandra Braden, 29, of Lancaster, was charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs, conspiracy to commit aggravated trafficking in drugs, trafficking in heroin, and possession of heroin. She faces four second-degree felonies, three third-degree felonies, and two fourth-degree felonies.

Ericka Adcock, 29, of Baltimore, was charged with aggravated trafficking of drugs and possession of heroin. She faces one second-degree felony and one fourth-degree felony.

Nina Maestle, 36, of Lancaster, was charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs and conspiracy to commit aggravated trafficking in drugs. She faces two second-degree felonies and two fourth-degree felonies.

Hocking County

Chris Nixon, 30, of Logan, was charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs and conspiracy to commit aggravated trafficking in drugs. He faces three second-degree felonies and four third-degree felonies.

Kimberly Young, 29, of Athens, was charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs and conspiracy to commit aggravated trafficking in drugs. She faces five second-degree felonies, 17 third-degree felonies, four fourth-degree felonies, and one fifth-degree felony.

Trisha Maffin, 33, of Logan, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs and possession of heroin. She faces 10 second-degree felonies and one fourth-degree felony.

Jonathan Wilson, 33, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs. He faces two second-degree felonies and five third-degree felonies.

Pickaway County

Danielle Friesner, 29, of Circleville, was charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs and conspiracy to commit aggravated trafficking in drugs. She faces two second-degree felonies and five third-degree felonies.

Michael Vandagriff, 42, of Circleville was charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs. He faces four third-degree felonies, 12 fourth-degree felonies, and 10 fifth-degree felonies.
