OhioHealth physicians and medical providers are offering their time once again to help keep the student athletes of southeast Ohio healthy and ready to play.

Appointments for free sports physicals can be scheduled through the OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital Family Medicine Residency Clinic now through July 31.

 This year, appointments will be scheduled and conducted in a clinic setting in order to maintain a safe and socially distant experience for you and your student athlete. To make an appointment or for questions, please call (740) 249-4122.

Appointments are available on two dates:

• Saturday, July 25, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
• Saturday, August 1, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Appointments will be scheduled on a first come first served basis.

OhioHealth is offering this service at no charge to middle school and high school students throughout southeastern Ohio with relatively “clean” medical histories. Exams are used to screen for and detect medical or physical conditions that may put the student athlete at risk for future problems.

 Please fully complete physical paperwork ahead of time and bring all pages of the approved form in order for your athlete to receive a physical.
