Jonathon “Jonny” Pryor of The Plains, who is 26, also faces 17 other felony charges related to the creation of child pornography.
Pryor’s wife, Jessica, also 26, was also indicted. She is charged with a third-degree felony of endangering children and two first-degree misdemeanor counts of endangering children. These charges are related to the 9-year-old girl and two other children.
The indictments allege the incidents took place between Jan. 1 and Oct. 25. According to a report from the Athens County Sheriff’s Office, detectives were contacted by the Internet Crimes Against Children task force on Oct. 25 after receiving information from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children. The information was that Jonny Pryor had uploaded images of child pornography through a messaging service.
Later that day, a search warrant was executed at Pryor’s residence, where deputies reported finding a mix of internet-sourced and homemade child pornography. Deputies also reported that video evidence of the sexual acts was confiscated during the search.
The Pryors are scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday.
