Power of Poetry 2022: Hocking Hills Festival of Poetry: Poetry Returns

Ravensun once again hosts Power of Poetry in-person at Alley Park, Lancaster on Friday, April 22 and Saturday, April 23. Live classical music will begin each evening at 7:00 p.m. This year’s featured poets are festival favorites: David Lee, George Bilgere and Poet Laureate of Ohio Kari Gunter-Seymour.

The presentations will be varied each night and will also include students from Poetry Out Loud: Pius Edzie, the Ohio state champion, from Columbus and Tatum L’Heureux from Nelsonville.

To make everyone feel more comfortable, it is required that all attendees be vaccinated. The festival is free, but donations are gladly accepted.
