The current representative for Ohio’s 91st House District earned 9,082 votes to opponent Tom Hwang’s 2,492.
Wilkin will face retired educator Garry Boone, who ran unopposed in the Democratic Primary, in November’s General Election.
The 17th Senate District includes Fayette, Gallia, Highland, Hocking, Jackson, Lawrence, Pike and Vinton Counties, along with the southern part of Perry County.
Per Ohio law, this result is considered unofficial until the final official canvas is completed in three weeks.
