The smallest (street legal) automobile made in America was manufactured in Athens, Ohio from 1947 through 1970. Once proclaimed “America’s fun car,” the King Midget has been driven and enjoyed by people around the world. About 5,000 cars were made and three different models were produced in Athens. Join us virtually, by telephone or computer device, or in-person (RSVP required to attend in-person) to hear more of the King Midget car story. Presented by: Alan Day. UpBEAT (Be Educated and Active Together) is a program for those aged 55 years and over. Membership is free. To learn how you can join us virtually (by phone or technology device) or RSVP for attending the program in-person (RSVP taken on first come, first serve basis as space is limited), contact Caitlin Bond, UpBEAT Program Coordinator by phone at 740-566-4680 or e-mail at Caitlin.Bond@ohiohealth.com.
