Granville cruises in Heath to retain undefeated season

Action starts early with a quick 3 and out by the Bulldogs, the Aces respond quickly with a handoff from QB Tyler Ernsberger to RB Matt Chaykaowski for 6. Followed up by a quick 2-point conversion, Aces up 6-0.
Defensive stops by both the Bulldogs and the Aces would finish out the first quarter.
Second Quarter action brings Brayden Bales to the spotlight as the Junior QB heaves one to Kevin Dunlap in the corner of the end zone, a failed 2 point conversion brings the score 8-6 with the Blue Aces up.
With the clock running down at the end of the first half the Aces looked to extend their lead at halftime. Tyler Ernsberger looks to the air and hits Senior Miles Eckenrode for the Touchdown. Granville with the 15 to 6 lead.
The Aces would take the third quarter kickoff down the field and be stopped short of a touchdown, opting for the field goal to extend their lead to 12. Defensive stops from the Aces would bring them back in position for another field goal to bring the score to 21-6. Matt Chaykowski would bring the Blue Aces another 6 as he takes a handoff from Ernsberger as Granville leads 28-6 over the Bulldogs at the end of the 3rd.
The Bulldogs consistently fought back against the Aces lead, until Mike Chaykowski would strike for a 47 yard run to give the Aces the 35-6 lead towards the end of the 4th. Bales and the Bulldogs aren’t done yet as a handoff to Conner Corbett brings the Bulldogs back on the scoreboard with just minutes left on the clock cutting the lead down to 23.
Time would expire as the Granville Blue Aces take the win over the Heath Bulldogs, with a final score of 35 to 12.
