Yard Sale for Scholarships

P. E. O. Chapter G of Athens will be having a yard sale Friday, October 7 from 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, October 8 from 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at 11711 Channingway Blvd, The Plains. This is just across the street from The Plains Community Park, site of The Plains Indian Mound Festival. All proceeds from this yard sale will go to P. E. O. scholarships, grants, awards, and loans for women. P. E. O. is a philanthropic educational organization of women, by women, and for women and has given over $398 million in financial assistance to more than 119,000 recipients.
