Here are the unofficial 2023 General Election results for Muskingum County

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – Here are the unofficial results for contested races and local issues in Muskingum County.

Karla Frye, Joey Pennybaker Osborn and Mark Ballmer earned positions as members of the council at large with 26.4%, 24.62% and 24.61% of the vote respectively. Cody Pettit earned 24.3% of the vote.

Bryan Douglas Stickel earned a position as Roseville mayor with 75.2% of the vote. Various Write-in candidates earned 27.2% of the vote. Write-in Lyman Lincoln earned 24.8% of the vote.

Lindsay Clark earned a position as Blue Rock fiscal officer with 61.6% of the vote. Danielle Vineyard earned 38.4% of the vote.

Russell Butler earned a position as Harrison trustee with 80.4% of the vote. William Green earned 19.6% of the vote.

Mark Myers earned a position as Hopewell trustee with 56.7% of the vote. David Gillespie earned 43.3% of the vote.

Julie Huntsman earned a position as Hopewell fiscal officer with 51.0% of the vote. Margie Brown earned 49.0% of the vote.

Ricky L. Priest earned a position as Jackson trustee with 53.35% of the vote. Jamie Johnson earned 46.65% of the vote.

Nick Beach earned a position as Jefferson trustee with 57.2% of the vote. Todd Alexander earned 42.8% of the vote.

Terry Berry earned a position as Jefferson trustee (unexpired term) with 49.7% of the vote. Harold E. Wolford earned 34.5% of the vote. Colby J. Kinsey earned 15.8% of the vote.

Travis Cunningham earned a position as Jefferson fiscal officer with 66.3% of the vote. Shain Girton earned 33.7% of the vote.

Becky S. Dingey earned a position as Meigs fiscal officer with 63.1% of the vote. Stephen Z. Bradley, Jr. earned 36.9% of the vote.

Jennifer M. Hickman earned a position as Monroe fiscal officer with 75.2% of the vote. Clarrinda Williamson earned 24.8% of the vote.

Matthew V. Hittle earned a position as Muskingum trustee with 60.1% of the vote. Todd Graham earned 20.9% of the vote. Brian Williams earned 19.0% of the vote.

Derek J. Dozer earned a position as Newton trustee with 67.8% of the vote. Shane Stephenson earned 32.2% of the vote.

Wendy R. Shreve earned a position as Springfield fiscal officer with 53.25% of the vote. Ashley Pickrell earned 46.75% of the vote.

Chris Hamill, Joshua Baker and Jim Swingle earned positions on the Franklin Local School Board with 28.0%, 27.2% and 22.8% of the vote respectively. John Coler earned 21.90% of the vote.

Kelli Israel, Benjamin Lowe and Cindy Miller earned positions on the Maysville School Board with 29.15%, 28.76% and 22.96% of the vote respectively. Craig A. Knox earned 19.13% of the vote.

Matt Motes earned a position on the Rolling Hills School Board (unexpired term) with 51% of the vote. Bryan Stoney earned 49% of the vote.

Scott Ford, Elizabeth Brocklehurst and Steve Barr earned positions on the Tri Valley School Board with 26.36%, 26.34% and 18.99% of the vote respectively. Christine Coyle earned 15.38% of the vote. Nick Howard earned 12.92% of the vote.

David Lapp, Evan Fischer and Gail Gallwitz earned positions on the Riverview School Board with 29.4%, 28.7% and 23.5% of the vote respectively. D. Cordell Brown earned 18.4% of the vote.

Harrison Township voters approved an Infrastructure Levy – Renewal (2 mills/5 years) by a vote of 193 to 81.

Voters in the East Muskingum Local School District approved an Emergency Levy – Additional (1.3 mills/5 years) by a vote of 2,222 to 2,221.

Voters in the East Muskingum Local School District approved an Emergency Levy – Renewal (1 mill/5 years) by a vote of 2,842 to 1,620.

Voters in Norwich Union approved a Fire District Levy – Renewal (.5 mills/5 years) by a vote of 564 to 189.

Voters in Muskingum County approved a Senior Services Levy – Additional (0.5 mills/5 years) by a vote of 13,138 to 11,088.

Zanesville voters approve a gas aggregation by a vote of 2,459 to 2,068.

Zanesville voters also approved an electric aggregation by a vote of 2,477 to 2,064.

Voters in Dresden approved a Current Expenses Levy – Renewal (3.8 mills/5 years) by a vote of 260 to 187.

Roseville voters voted down an electric aggregation by a vote of 193 to 102.

Roseville voters also voted down a gas aggregation proposal by a vote of 195 to 101.

Voters in Roseville approve a Fire Protection Levy – Renewal (3 mills/5 years) by a vote of 209 to 95.

Philo voters approved a Current Expenses Levy – Renewal (2.5 mills/5 years) by a vote of 116 to 60.

Voters in South Zanesville approve a gas aggregation by a vote of 199 to 185.

South Zanesville voters voted down a Police Department Levy – Additional (2 mills/5 years) by a vote of 208 to 185.

Voters in New Concord approved a Safety and General Services Levy – Renewal (0.75% income tax) a vote of 279 to 260.

New Concord voters approved an electric aggregation by a vote of 369 to 159.

Voters in New Concord also approved a gas aggregation by a vote of 373 to 155.

Voters in Norwich approved an electric aggregation by a vote of 30 to 17.

Norwich voters also approved a gas aggregation by a vote of 31 to 16.

Adams voters approved a Fire and EMS Levy – Renewal (1 mill/5 years) by a vote of 77 to 28.

Voters in Cass Township approved a Fire and EMS Levy – Renewal (2 mills/continuing) by a vote of 399 to 130.

Falls Township voters approved a Fire and EMS Levy – Renewal and Increase (2.5 mills/continuing) by a vote of 2,047 to 1,166.

Hopewell Township voters approved a Fire and EMS Levy – Renewal and Increase (1.5 mills5 years) by a vote of 688 to 409.

Voters in Hopewell Township approved an Infrastructure Levy – Renewal (1 mill/5 years) by a vote of 729 to 378.

Voters in Jefferson Township approved a Fire District Levy – Renewal (2 mills/5 years) by a vote of 110 to 27.

Voters in Licking Township approved a Fire and EMS Levy – Renewal (2 mills/5 years) by a vote of 519 to 364.

Licking Township voters approved a Fire and EMS Levy – Renewal (1 mill/5 years) by a vote of 569 to 321.

Voters in Meigs Township approved a Fire and EMS Levy – Renewal (1 mill/5 years) by a vote of 49 to 19.

Monroe Township voters approved a Fire and EMS Levy – Renewal (1 mill/5 years) by a vote of 80 to 39.

Voters in Muskingum Township voted down an Infrastructure Levy – Additional (2 mills/10 years) by a vote of 966 to 736.

Perry Township voters approved a Fire and EMS Levy – Replacement (4 mills/5 years) by a vote of 598 to 434.

Voters in Washington Township approved a Fire and EMS Levy – Replacement (2.5 mills/5 years) by a vote of 802 to 372.

Wayne Township voters approved a Fire and EMS Levy – Replacement (2 mills/5 years) by a vote of 958 to 663.

Voters in the Zanesville City School District approved an Emergency Levy – Renewal (3.2 mills/5 years) by a vote of 3,306 to 2,280.

Muskingum County voters voted down an electric aggregation by a vote of 7,145 to 4,952.

Voters in Muskingum County also voted down a gas aggregation by a vote of 7,572 to 5,467.
