The Meigs Marauders have found major success in the beginning of their season. With their new Head Coach, Ryan Davis, and his son Carson Davis, the Marauders are undefeated at 7-0 overall and 3-0 in conference. Meigs was limited last season, with several season ending injuries plaguing the team throughout the year, including sophomore Reed Brinager. Brinager returned healthy this season and has been the powerful presence he was before his injury last year and a strong factor in Meigs’ success.
The Marauders lost Braylon Harrison, Brayden Stanley, Conlee Burnam, and Griffin Cleland last season, but have done more than recovered. They beat Alexander 72-53 on Tuesday and wrapped up the week on Friday with a game versus Belpre, winning 86-57. Meigs will break for the holidays and will play again on Saturday at home versus Jackson.
