A benefit will be held for musician Paula Taylor on Sunday, July 12 starting at 2 p.m. at the Athens Redman Lodge (7875 Dairy Lane, Athens).

Paula has faced significant medical challenges, including systemic sclerosis, cancer, and complications from a gunshot wound to her head. She recently fell and broke her ankle leaving her in a wheelchair. Paula has no ramp to her home and requires ambulance service to the hospital and back several times a month. Paula is drained physically and financially, and any help is greatly appreciated. Proceeds from the benefit will help offset ongoing medical and accessibility expenses.

The event begins at 2 p.m. with a Chinese auction, followed by a dance at 4:30 p.m. featuring The Cadillacs, who will perform until 6:30 p.m.
