OU Student Arrested For Uptown Rape

UPDATE: 1:30 PM An Ohio University student faces rape charges following an early morning incident in the Athens uptown area.

Athens Police officers are investigating a rape they say took place early Friday morning.

A 17-year-old girl told police she had been raped at a residence by a "known subject."

Police arrested Michael Alexandrov, 19, of Mamaronek, NY on Friday and charged him with rape.

Alexandrov is being held on a $50,000 bond.
