Police Investigate Fatal Zanesville Shooting

Captain Tony Coury said Zanesville police officers responded to a call at 409 1/2 Mead Street around 7 p.m. Sunday after a woman reported that there was an injured male on her porch.
Larry Lewis, 37, of Zanesville was shot once in the chest and was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital where he later died.
Coury said that a small amount of drugs and drug paraphernalia was found at the scene.
Coury said the police department does not have a suspect in custody, but officers are interviewing neighbors to find out what exactly happened.
