Cambridge Woman Charged In Connection With Double Homicide
< < Back to cambridge-woman-charged-connection-double-homicideA Cambridge woman faces charges in connection with a Guernsey County double homicide, but it's unclear if additional suspects will be charged.
Maigen Blanchard, 23, was charged Wednesday in Cambridge Municipal Court with a felony count of complicity to commit aggravated robbery.
Her charge relates to the deaths of Christopher Morrison and Justain Nelson over the weekend.
Guernsey County Sheriff Mike McCauley would not say if anyone else is suspected in the case, only commenting that the investigation is ongoing.
Morrison was found dead in front of a Coventry Estates apartment building early Sunday morning.
Nelson was found wounded, but alive, behind the same building.
He later died as a result of his wounds at Southeastern Med.
Both died from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.
Blanchard remains in custody in the Guernsey County Jail.
She is scheduled to appear for a bond hearing in the Cambridge Municipal Court on Thursday afternoon.
