Athens County Protestor Indicted For Inducing Panic

Madeline ffitch said today she will plead not guilty to a charge of inducing panic.
ffitch is the 31-year-old Athens County woman who staged a protest at an Athens County waste disposal well in Alexander Township on June 26.
She just revealed that she's been indicted by a Grand Jury and an arraignment will take place on August 15.
ffitch attached herself to a pair of barrels but freed herself after a more than six hour stand-off with authorities.
She says she acted, "to protest the out-of-state fracking waste that's being shipped into Athens County every day with no state regulatory oversight."
