ODOT Works on Bypass Near Athens County

ODOT is doing construction of part of the Nelsonville bypass.
District 10 Construction Engineer Cary Betzing says the projects overlap in Athens and Hocking counties.
"Phase two which would be the western phase of the project. The completion date for that is November of this year," said Betzing.
He says Phase three in the project will be in progress until next fall.
Betzing says part of the construction should be in use in a few weeks, "Just east of state route 595, where we will actually tie into U.S. 33. And that will continue on down to Buckeye Road, in Nelsonville."
