Dozens Arrested In Public Housing Drug Culture
< < Back toSuspected drug activity at a Wetzel County public housing complex has resulted in more than two dozen arrests.
After a county grand jury indicted 29 people on Wednesday, most of the suspects were arrested over a 12-hour span.
County Prosecutor Tim Haught says the indictments were related to the trafficking of prescription drugs at the New Martinsville Villa apartments.
Haught says he's met with management at the apartments to discuss improving security and curbing illegal activity.
He says management is in the process of installing video cameras.
Media outlets report authorities are still looking for two suspects.
