Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine honored more than 100 law enforcement officers, dispatchers, prosecutors, and clerks for their outstanding efforts to protect Ohioans and save lives in a ceremony Friday.

Twenty-two of the awards went to those who responded to the call of wild animals let loose on a Muskingum County farm a year ago.

The awards were presented during the second and final day of the Attorney General's Law Enforcement Conference in Columbus.

Attorney General DeWine also recognized the longest-serving sheriff in America, Pickaway County Sheriff Dwight Radcliff.

He was given a lifetime achievement award.

Radcliff, who is retiring in January, was elected sheriff for the first time in 1964.
