Crime Stoppers Searching For Group Who Killed Columbus Man
< < Back to crime-stoppers-searching-group-who-killed-columbus-manCentral Ohio police are reaching out to Southeast Ohio residents in the hopes of finding a group of men they believe killed a man during a home invasion.
According to the Southern Ohio Crime Stoppers, three to five masked and armed men forced their way into the home on Loretta Avenue in Columbus around 1:30 a.m. on January 18.
The men woke up the family and made demands.
Denis Lewis, 17, struggled with one of the men and was shot.
Lewis later died.
Crime Stoppers report the men may have ties to Southern Ohio.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-645-8477 or the Southern Ohio Crime Stoppers at 740-773-8477. A reward is being offered for the arrest of the people responsible for this crime.
