Much of Southeast Ohio and Western West Virginia will be under a freezing rain advisory beginning Sunday at 10 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

The advisory remains in effect until 5 a.m. Monday.

The overnight forecast calls for a 100 percent chance of freezing rain, with ice accumulations of a tenth of an inch or less.

The overnight low temperature is predicted to hover around the freezing mark.

Freezing drizzle could create slick roadways and untreated surfaces, such as walkways and sidewalks, may become slippery.

Drivers are urged to use caution.

Temperatures Monday are expected to warm to the lower 50s and rain fall is forecasted to continue, mainly in the morning hours.
