< < Back to police-officer-pleads-not-guilty-felony-chargeA Nelsonville police officer will appear in Hocking County Municipal Court Wednesday after pleading not guilty to a felony charge.
Joshua Braglin, 35, appeared before a Hocking County judge Wednesday for an arraignment hearing.
Braglin is accused of tampering with evidence after sheriff's deputies were called to his girlfriend's home on a domestic disturbance call.
Officers say Braglin appeared to be intoxicated and allegedly tried to hide his service pistol during the incident.
A judge set Braglin's bond at $10,000.
Nelsonville Police Chief Jason Wallace said Braglin has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the case.
