Each week of this 5-week class will build upon the previous class where the student will learn the usage of basic drawing techniques essential to the core principles in all mediums of fine art. Specifically we will be learning how to recognize and translate the three dimensionality and texture that define the objects we see.
It is the view of the teacher that teaching art has the best results if each student can explore each class at their own level of skill without expectation or restriction and that learning how to reproduce is vastly different than learning how to create.
By the end of this class it is the hope of the teacher that each student will have acquired the basic techniques necessary for more realistic drawing, and a better understanding of the visual world.
